![]() Keep in mind with a board like that, you still need an audio interface to send the signal to your PC. There are multi-effects presets built in to the board but I haven't played with them yet. One caveat is that only one effect can be programmed in at a time on that model. I've got a mixing board with built in effects (something like the Behringer 1002FX) and I can now monitor in real time even with effects. The second option is what I've ended up going with: hardware. Every reverb plug-in I tried to use crashed my Streamlabs OBS so badly I ended up having to wipe all my settings. ![]() (Reaper plugins are free and popular.) Beware, though. ![]() You can also just use VST plugins with your streaming software. That may not be an issue for many people but it was a challenge for me because it makes monitoring impossible and I'm a music streamer trying to record and play along with backing tracks. The other was that every effect in the chain added more latency. I had a lot of audio glitching and I felt I couldn't rely on it so I scrapped it all. ![]() One was that my computer did not like it one bit.I guess my sound card was just not good enough. There are a bunch of YouTube videos about how to do this. The software way would be to use something like Voicemeeter Banana with an effects chaining utility using VST plugins. So there's a couple ways you can do this.
